Three Carey Faculty Members Receive Jhu Catalyst Awards

Johns Hopkins University launched the Catalyst Awards in 2015 to help the efforts of early-career school members whose work has proven originality and made an impression of their respective fields. Carey Business School researchers have obtained the awards annually since the program’s inception, and this year isn't any different. As introduced June four by the university, Associate Professor Alessandro Rebucci, Associate Professor Meng Zhu, and Assistant Professor Yaa Akosa Antwi are the latest Carey school members to receive Catalyst Awards. They are amongst 32 faculty members from throughout eight divisions of JHU to be named recipients. A $seventy five,000 grant is given to each of the awardees to help their work in the coming yr. Yaa Akosa Antwi, who earned her P hD in applied economics and administration at Carnegie Mellon University, joined the Carey Business School college in 2016. Her expertise is in health economics and coverage. Alessandro Rebucci earned his doctorate in economics at Queen Mary College, University of London. He joined Carey in 2013 and is an expert in financial establishments, international finance, macroeconomics, and international real estate. Meng Zhu earned her PhD at Carnegie Mellon in 2011 and arrived that yr at Carey.
